Christopher Eckmann

With ten+ years of sales experience, Christopher (Chris) understands the ins and outs of sales operations and techniques in a way that is matched by few. With a degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio in General Business, Chris began his career at tech giant Rackspace, on their lead generation team. It was there he learned the importance of multi-platform sales techniques including chat, cold calling, and inbound sales. For the next six years, Chris was fortunate to experience a variety of different sales positions in the company, including spearheading the webmail division as well as serving as a sales trainer for in the company’s UK office in London, England.  Leaving Rackspace to manage an email sales team at Hostway, Chris improved his craft and was quickly named senior sales manager of lead generation.

Though he enjoyed his time in leadership at Hostway, a call from Intel would entice him to accept a job in their Boston office. Moving from his lifetime home in San Antonio, Texas, Chris began his role as manager of lead generation for Intel, and within his first year increased the total pipeline and total won bookings by 200%. Additionally, he implemented Live Chat, leading to over $3,000,000 in potential bookings and $700,000 in won bookings during the first six months of implementation.
Since those early sales management days, Chris has served as Senior Business Aquisition Sales Manager for Avention (acquired by Dunn & Bradstreet), Senior Manager of Sales Development for Dyn (acquired by Oracle), and Director of Global Business Development and Inside Sales for ClickSoftware.

As the Chief Revenue Officer for Social Betty, Chris utilizes his vast experience throughout his career to scale the company. Using his expert knowledge, he is to not only able to guide the Social Betty brand, other brands now rely on his training and consulting to launch them to the next level as well.
